Here at Lithia UK, we believe in growing and nurturing talent, and as an Apprentice Technician / Mechanic with us, you’ll be given the support of a dedicated mentor and internal training in order to be the best you can be whilst qualifying as a Technician.

An apprenticeship with Lithia UK is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to pursue a career as a Vehicle Technician with a view to becoming a fully trained Technician with an IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance.

What will you be doing every day as an Apprentice Technician / Mechanic?

• Learning to service vehicles – conducting checks and maintaining vehicles as per set guidelines
• Learning to repair and replace parts and components
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance to vehicles
• Maintain repair and service records on the in-house computer system and for customers.

The apprenticeship also includes a block training at Croxley, near Watford for 2 weeks at a time which is fully funded by us!

What do we look for in an Apprentice Technician / Mechanic?

• An interest in vehicles
• The ability to follow instructions
• Enthusiasm
• A keen eye for detail
• A grade C or Grade 4 in English or Maths
