As Used Car Buyer, you’ll be joining the Porsche team with 7 x Centres across the UK. In this hybrid role you’ll be responsible for sourcing Used Vehicles nationwide to meet the aspirational sales volume and profitability of our Porsche dealers. 

The Role

• Accountable for maintaining a retail stock profile in line with the company’s used car strategy

• Confidently sourcing, appraising, and negotiating the purchase of suitable vehicles from across the UK

• Working closely with Centres to ensure stock levels are reviewed and maintained in line with agreed profiles

• Analysing data to make informed decisions, reporting trends and insights to senior management, and supporting colleagues in understanding purchasing rationale

• Acting as an expert in the used car market by researching, comparing, and analysing stock to identify buying opportunities

The Person

• Proven success and experience in a buying or used sales leadership role within the automotive industry

• A self-starter with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and deadlines

• Always on the lookout for quality vehicles from all available sources, including trade and private sellers

• A highly influential and effective communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills

• Tenacious, driven, and creative, with the initiative to consistently deliver against targets
