Technical Content Developer

Technical Content Developer

Lithia UK

Hybrid working - requirements to work in the office twice per week

Competitive salary and pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services.

As one of the world’s leading automotive groups, we’re on a mission to modernise personal transportation - wherever, whenever, and however consumers desire. Data is central to that, and we’re seeking a Technical Content Developer to ensure our Power BI reporting is clearly defined, consistent, and trusted. You’ll be responsible for documenting data models, measures, and business logic, working closely with BI developers and analysts to maintain a single, reliable source of truth that supports confident decision-making across the business.

Your Journey as Technical Content Developer:

  • Own documentation for all Power BI datasets, models, and reports
  • Document tables, relationships, measures and business logic
  • Maintain clear data dictionaries and measure definitions
  • Create and maintain clear UK and Global reporting, showing how UK metrics align to Group outputs and where definitions or calculations differ
  • Keep documentation up to date as models and reports change
  • Review new and amended reports from a documentation and logic perspective
  • Work with BI developers and analysts to validate logic
  • Use structured extracts and metadata to support efficient reviews
  • Identify duplication, gaps, and inconsistencies in reporting
  • Maintain a single agreed source of truth for documentation

Do you have what it takes to be a Lithia UK colleague? We’re looking for someone who has:

  • The ability to understand data models and reporting logic
  • Clear written and communication skills, with high attention to detail and structure
  • Comfortable working across large reporting estates
  • Previous experience with Power BI, reporting and producing technical documentation as well as DAX or data modelling knowledge is desirable but not essential

What we can offer you:

  • Enjoy 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), giving you more time to relax, recharge, and do what you love
  • Celebrate your special day with an extra day off on your birthday
  • Our industry-leading Family Leave Policies ensure you’re supported when it matters most
  • Access a new car through our Salary Sacrifice scheme and enjoy a smarter way to drive
  • Take a paid day to volunteer and give back to a cause close to your heart
  • We believe in recognising dedication and loyalty, that’s why we celebrate long service milestone anniversaries
  • Unlock your potential with tailored training and endless career growth opportunities
  • Commute for less with our cycle to work scheme
  • Access high street discounts to make the everyday a little more rewarding
  • Know someone perfect for Lithia UK? Earn rewards through our internal referral scheme
