We are currently seeking an RPA Developer (Blue Prism) to join our dynamic team and help drive our automation initiatives forward.
Sitting within our Automation Centre of Excellence and reporting directly to the Head of Automation, the RPA Developer will be responsible for developing complex automation solutions using a variety of methods in support of automation initiatives. Collaborating with end users and team members in design, development, testing and maintenance of automation projects across the business, they will utilise process automation best practices to ensure automations meet business requirements and stated targets for efficiency.
Your day as an RPA Developer:
- Design, code and develop automated processes using Blue Prism toolset, including Process design and object creation.
- Configuring new Blue Prism processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
- Implement Automation process solutions based on requirements, working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to carry out UAT.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
- Support existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
- Collaborate with the Shared Service Centre teams and other business units for process identification and feasibility of process areas where robotic automation solutions can drive significant business benefit.
- Understanding of workflow-based logic and ability to both understand a current state of the business process from a workflow diagram, and conceptualise future state of that workflow in an automated solution.
Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years’ experience supporting back-office process automation using RPA and other automation solutions.
- Highly analytical, creative problem solver.
- Excellent end-to-end systems thinker, planner, and integrator, with high attention to detail.
- Proven process design and improvement experience.
- Expert in gathering and documenting requirements for RPA development.
- Ability to quickly assess RPA opportunities as well as envision appropriate automation solution paths.
- Ability to work as a part of a team and committed to quality, process, outcomes, and building solid relationships.
- Solid self-direction and initiative; willingness to take ownership.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Finance process knowledge (e.g. Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay etc).
- Knowledge of Power Automate, API’s, Excel, VBA.
- Programming experience e.g. Python, macros, .NET, C#, Access, SQL, Visual Basic
