Reward & Data Analyst

Lithia UK, People & Culture Team | Remote/Hybrid (Expectation to travel to two HR events a year and to Nottingham Head Office once / twice a quarter)

Basic salary up to £42,500, with pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services

At Lithia UK, our people are at the heart of everything we do — and data plays a vital role in helping us create the best possible colleague experience. As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a commercially minded and analytical Reward & Data Analyst to join our People & Culture team.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine reward expertise with people analytics, helping shape reward decisions, workforce insights and business strategy across one of the UK’s leading automotive retailers.

You’ll play a key role in turning data into meaningful insight, supporting leaders across the business with informed decision-making while helping ensure our reward offering remains competitive, fair and aligned to our store-first approach.

If you enjoy working with data, solving problems and influencing decisions through insight, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

You’ll have the opportunity to be involved with:

  • Supporting reward activities across the business, including bonus schemes, pay reviews, benchmarking and reward governance
  • Analysing people and reward data to identify trends, provide insight and support business decision-making
  • Creating and maintaining dashboards, reports and workforce analytics for key stakeholders
  • Supporting statutory reporting activities, including Gender Pay Gap reporting and audit requirements
  • Working collaboratively with Payroll, Finance, HR Operations and IT teams to improve reporting capability and data accuracy
  • Supporting the development of Workday Compensation and other HR systems, while identifying opportunities to improve and automate processes
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across reward, reporting and people analytics

Do you have what it takes to be a Lithia UK colleague? We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience within reward, HR analytics, people reporting or compensation-related roles
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insight
  • Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with large datasets and reporting tools
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and engaging way
  • Understanding of reward principles including benchmarking, bonus schemes and pay governance
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information accurately
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across multiple teams and business functions
  • A proactive, commercially focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving

Desirable experience

  • Experience using Workday, Power BI, Tableau or similar systems
  • Knowledge of UK reward legislation and statutory reporting requirements
  • Experience working within a multi-site, retail or operationally led environment
  • Understanding of workforce planning and forecasting methodologies
