Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger to join the team within our Head Office Accounts department. You’ll be joining a fast-paced, exciting and ever-changing environment with fantastic opportunities to progress.

What does the role of Purchase Ledger involve?

• Processing supplier invoices onto the ledger
• Matching GRN’s
• Ensuring the invoices are appropriately authorised in a timely manner
• Reconciliation of supplier statements to the ledger
• Arranging payment and liaising with suppliers and dealerships to resolve any queries

What do you need to succeed as a Purchase Ledger?

• Highly organised and conscientious
• Ability to plan and prioritise your own work to tight deadlines
• A working knowledge of spreadsheets and previous purchase ledger experience
• Accurate with superb attention to detail
• Able to build a rapport with a wide range of people, you should be a team player with excellent communication skills
