As our Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician, you’ll carry out the preparation and body repair of car and light commercial vehicles in an efficient, skilful and safe manner achieving high levels of customer satisfaction at all times. A Bodyshop background would be desirable but this role may also suit a manufacturer trained technician looking for a new challenge. 

For this role it is desirable that you hold a full UK drivers’ licence. 

What does the role of Bodyshop Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician involve? 

• Making assessments of damaged vehicles 

• Completing strip and re-fitting work on accident damaged vehicles 

• Fixing mechanical damage 

• Requesting parts 

• Filling in job cards accurately on completion 

• Achieving a high rate of productivity 

What do you need to succeed as a Bodyshop Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician? 

• Experience stripping and fitting a wide range of vehicles 

• ATA qualified desirable 

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
