As an HR Business Partner at Lithia UK, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our people strategy and driving initiatives that support our business goals. You’ll partner with senior business leaders, offering strategic HR guidance and support that aligns with our goals and values. With a focus on fostering a high-performance culture, you will have the opportunity to influence change, improve employee engagement, and promote development across the organisation.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will work in close collaboration with our HR Shared Service Centre, ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services, from talent management to employee relations. This role provides a unique blend of strategic and operational responsibilities, allowing you to make a real impact while driving forward initiatives that support our people and the business. You’ll help build a workplace that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement while fostering an environment where our people are empowered to grow and succeed.
Your Journey as a HR Business Partner:
- Work alongside the Senior HR Business Partner to drive people strategies that align with business goals
- Collaborate with business leaders to shape organisational design, workforce planning and succession planning, providing expert guidance to ensure we’re always moving in the right direction
- Play an active role in attracting and retaining top talent, supporting initiatives that nurture leadership and colleague development
- Champion performance management and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Be a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, ensuring legal compliance and strong company policies
- Partner with leaders to enhance colleague engagement and drive action plans that boost morale and productivity whilst championing diversity and inclusions across all teams
- Ensure the smooth running of HR processes by collaborating with the HR Shared Service Centre. From payroll to onboarding, ensuring our policies are in place and aligned with best practices, always back by data-driven insights
- Guide and support the business through organisation changes, helping managers and teams navigate transitions with confidence and clarity
Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? What we’re looking for:
- CIPD qualified (or working towards it) with a passion for HR and people development
- A proven track record of delivering impactful HR strategies in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, lead and influence both teams and business leaders to drive positive change across our business
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and will be able to naturally build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, making you a trusted advisor who can navigate complex situations with ease
- Outstanding communications skills both written and verbally allowing clarity and impact in all communications
- A positive, proactive attitude with a natural follow-through, you’re reliable, take ownership and bring energy to everything you do
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and stay organised under pressure
- High energy and creative problem solving abilities, using your resourcefulness and innovative thinking to tackle challenges head-on
- A self starter who’s comfortable working independently and taking initiative but equally thrives as part of a collaborative, high-performing team that celebrates success together
