Lithia UK is seeking a Head of Shared Service Centre – Reporting to take full ownership of our R2R tower, driving it through a period of high growth and elevating it to the next level.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you’ll lead the charge in building and expanding our reporting capabilities—enhancing services, strengthening internal controls, and driving performance to exceed business expectations. This is your chance to make a tangible impact by creating a seamless, high-performing SSC function that delivers real value to senior leaders and customers alike.
Your Journey as the Head of SSC:
- Define and execute the R2R strategy, ensuring it aligns with Lithia UK’s overall financial goals and scales effectively as the business grows
- Introduce smarter, frictionless processes that deliver high-value, efficient service to stakeholders
- Manage the SSC Reporting budget and deliver on financial targets, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase value
- Own KPI’s and SLA’s, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement
- Provide leadership and oversight for SSC Reporting operations, building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with HR to implement talent development programmes that empower your team and align with Lithia UK’s values
Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We’re looking for someone who:
- At least 5 years of experience leading high-performing teams in a Shared Service Centre environment with a focus on driving strategy and operational excellence
- A motivation and positive builder who builds trust, energises teams and influences beyond their immediate function
- Acts as a true ambassador for the SSC, representing its value and driving alignment across the business
- Skilled at building strong, effective relationships with international stakeholders and can navigate complex environments with ease
- Maintains confidence, composure and focus when faced with high-pressure or fast-paced challenges
- Translates strategies into clear, actionable plans that balance long term goals with immediate operational needs
- Challenges the status quo with creative thinking and fresh ideas to improve processes and drive efficiencies
