DMS System Administrator (12-month fixed-term contract)
Lithia UK – Annesley, Nottingham (Hybrid)

At Lithia UK, our Dealer Management System (DMS) plays a vital role in keeping our business running smoothly. We’re now looking for a detail-focused and proactive UK DMS System Administrator to support the day-to-day operation, governance and continuous improvement of our DMS and its supporting systems.
Working closely with the UK DMS System Manager and stakeholders across Technology & Innovation, Finance, HR and the wider business, you’ll help ensure our systems are secure, compliant and performing at their best. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys balancing technical administration with governance, user support and service delivery.
Your Journey as a System Administrator:
- Manage user provisioning and permissions, support system configuration changes, and act as a key escalation point for DMS-related issues, ensuring all activity aligns with governance standards and SLAs
- Carry out regular compliance checks, maintain accurate documentation, and support audit activity to ensure the DMS meets regulatory and internal control requirements, including Sox
- Support system performance monitoring, incident resolution and reporting, working closely with suppliers to maintain reliability, security and agreed service levels
- Provide clear guidance and technical support to users, identify trends in queries, and contribute to improving system understanding and best practice across the business
- Support DMS implementations, upgrades and change initiatives, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, automate tasks and optimise system performance
Do you have what it takes to be a Lithia UK colleague? We’re looking for someone who has:
- 2–3+ years’ experience in IT system administration or a similar role
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Strong technical capability in system configuration, troubleshooting and user support
- Good understanding of governance, compliance and change management frameworks (e.g. GDPR, SOx, ITIL)
- Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Confident analysing data and producing clear, meaningful reporting
