Divisional Marketing Manager (Evans Halshaw)

Lithia UK, Hybrid (requirement to travel to our Head Office in Annesley, Nottinghamshire)

Salary up to £40,000 with bonus, car allowance, pension, Family PMI, critical illness, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases and aftersales services

At Lithia UK, we’re not just transforming the automotive industry – we’re redefining the way people experience it. As the UK’s leading automotive retailer, we’re all about creating moments that matter for our customers and driving the future of personal transportation.

We’re looking for a Divisional Marketing Manager who can lead the charge, shaping impactful sales and aftersales marketing strategies across our brands. You’ll play a key role in enhancing customer engagement, maximising enquiry levels, and driving divisional growth.

Your Journey as a Divisional Marketing Manager:

  • Develop and execute brand-specific marketing strategies that align with OEM campaigns and local business needs, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints
  • Lead the divisional marketing strategy, adapting and refining plans to align with business performance and evolving market trends
  • Drive local social media content, collaborating with dealership social media champions to increase engagement and grow followers
  • Create annual marketing plans with clear KPIs, revisiting each quarter to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee sales and aftersales marketing funnels, using data-driven insights to inform campaign effectiveness, lead management, and ROI
  • Manage the divisional marketing budget, ensuring every pound spent delivers measurable impact and aligns with commercial objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and results
  • Act as the go-to marketing contact for OEMs, third-party agencies, and key stakeholders, ensuring a seamless flow of communication
  • Ensure full compliance with FCA, GDPR, PECR, and OEM brand guidelines, maintaining a keen focus on data protection and customer privacy
  • Collaborate with the Group marketing team to align local initiatives with national strategies, ensuring a unified brand presence
  • Plan, manage, and execute impactful events, from product launches to customer engagement activities, ensuring each one leaves a lasting impression
  • Support the Divisional Marketing Director, stepping up to lead when required and providing strategic insights that elevate marketing efforts across the division

Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience in a marketing management role, ideally within the automotive or retail sector
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to balance day-to-day tactical execution with long-term brand building
  • Exceptional communication skills – you’re as comfortable presenting campaign results to senior leadership as you are coaching your team to reach their potential
  • Analytical skills to assess marketing performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that drive growth
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering ROI-focused marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems, and social media platforms, with a knack for creating compelling, on-brand content
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach – you’re always looking for ways to innovate, improve, and exceed expectations
  • A customer-first mindset, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a genuine desire to be part of a team that’s shaping its future

Why Lithia UK?

  • Enjoy 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), giving you more time to relax, recharge, and do what you love
  • Celebrate your special day with an extra day off on your birthday
  • Our industry-leading Family Leave Policies ensure you’re supported when it matters most
  • Take a paid day to volunteer and give back to a cause close to your heart

  • Unlock your potential with tailored training and endless career growth opportunities
