Salary up to £36,000 (DOE) with pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services

At Lithia UK, we're transforming the way customers research, shop and interact with our brands online. Every day, millions of digital interactions take place across our websites, and we're committed to creating seamless, engaging and high-performing digital experiences that help customers find the right vehicle, product or service with confidence.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our website content, organic search and local listings strategy across some of the UK's most recognised automotive brands, including Evans Halshaw, Stratstone, Quickco, Evans Halshaw Leasing and Driveway Vehicle Solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Website & E-Commerce, you'll play a pivotal role in driving online visibility, increasing qualified traffic, improving customer journeys and maximising the commercial return from our digital content and search activity. This is an exciting opportunity for a digital marketing professional who combines creativity with analytical thinking and enjoys turning insights into measurable business results.

If you're passionate about content, SEO, digital innovation and delivering exceptional online experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Your Journey as a Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Take ownership of the website content strategy and production process across Lithia UK's consumer-facing brands, ensuring content is engaging, accurate and aligned to business priorities
  • Lead the end-to-end content production lifecycle, from briefing and workflow management through to publication, quality assurance and performance review
  • Maintain editorial standards, tone of voice and brand consistency across all websites, ensuring the highest possible quality for customers
  • Develop and manage the content calendar, aligning content delivery with campaigns, manufacturer launches and wider marketing activity
  • Drive the organic search strategy across the business, identifying opportunities to increase visibility, traffic, leads and online performance
  • Define and deliver SEO initiatives covering technical SEO, content optimisation, internal linking, local search and structured data enhancements
  • Own and continuously improve local listings management across the Lithia UK dealership network through Yext and associated platforms
  • Monitor and improve dealership profile accuracy, ensuring customers can easily find and engage with our locations online
  • Work closely with website, development, UX and platform teams to ensure SEO and content requirements are embedded within future releases, migrations and enhancements
  • Use tools including Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and SEO platforms to identify opportunities, measure success and make data-driven recommendations
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for content suppliers and agencies, ensuring quality, value and delivery standards are consistently achieved
  • Influence future content, SEO and digital roadmap priorities, helping shape the continued growth of our digital capability
  • Explore emerging technologies and AI solutions that improve efficiency, content quality and digital performance
  • Deliver regular reporting and performance insights, helping stakeholders understand results, opportunities and future priorities

Leading and Developing Others:

  • Line manage and support a Digital Marketing Executive, creating an environment where development, coaching and continuous learning are encouraged
  • Set clear objectives, conduct regular one-to-one meetings and support individual development plans
  • Provide guidance and best practice across content, SEO, analytics and digital marketing disciplines
  • Help build a collaborative, high-performing culture where colleagues are empowered to contribute ideas and take ownership of their work

Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We're looking for someone who has:

  • Strong digital marketing experience, with proven expertise across content strategy, high-quality content production and organic search that delivers measurable results
  • Confident managing website content at scale across multiple brands, products or business areas, ideally using enterprise-level Content Management Systems such as Sitecore
  • Excellent understanding of SEO best practice, including technical SEO, on-page optimisation, local search, structured data and performance improvement opportunities
  • Comfortable using tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Botify, Screaming Frog or Sistrix to analyse performance and turn insight into clear, practical recommendations
  • Experience working with external agencies, suppliers or partners, building strong relationships and ensuring agreed standards, service levels and deliverables are achieved
  • A natural coach and collaborator, with experience leading, supporting or developing colleagues and creating a positive, high-performing team environment
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities, influence across departments and keep activity moving at pace
