Lithia UK (Hybrid- 1 day WFH per week)

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our Property team and support the successful delivery of construction projects across our UK business.

Working closely with the Head of Construction, you'll help bring projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, on budget and to the high standards expected across the Lithia UK network. Your Journey as a Construction Project Manager:

• Support the delivery of construction projects ranging from smaller improvement works through to larger-scale developments across the Lithia UK property portfolio
• Assist in developing project briefs, scopes of work and project plans that align with business objectives and operational requirements
• Obtain and coordinate fee proposals from approved consultants and quotations from approved contractors
• Attend site meetings and project review meetings, working with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure projects progress effectively
• Support the preparation of CAPEX requests and business cases for approval by senior leadership teams
• Assist with the appointment of consultants and contractors, ensuring company approval processes and governance requirements are followed
• Monitor project costs and maintain accurate construction cost reports throughout project lifecycles
• Produce project updates, programmes, cost plans and presentations that provide stakeholders with clear visibility of project progress
• Maintain project documentation including CAPEX trackers, appointment registers and project records
• Support the completion phase of projects by coordinating Operation & Maintenance manuals, final accounts and project close-out activities
• Monitor snagging items and defective works to help ensure issues are resolved promptly following practical completion
• Contribute to regular reporting on project performance, including time, cost, quality, health & safety and sustainability measures

Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience working in a project management environment, ideally within construction, property or the built environment, with a real interest in how exciting development projects come to life.
• A confident organiser who can manage multiple priorities, keep work moving to deadlines and maintain accurate project records, trackers and documentation.
• Great communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors, consultants and stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive, detail-focused approach to problem solving, with the confidence to analyse information, monitor progress and support decision-making across projects.
• Experience supporting project budgets, cost reporting, project administration or working collaboratively across multiple workstreams would be a real advantage.
• A relevant qualification or education in construction, construction project management, building services or a related discipline would be desirable.
• A willingness to learn, develop and build a long-term career in project management and property within a growing automotive retail business.
