As we continue to evolve and grow, we’re looking for an experienced and people-focused SSC Central Support Team Leader to lead our Central Support function and help deliver a world-class service across the organisation.

You’ll have the opportunity to be involved with:
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of Central Support Accounts Assistants, creating a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
- Overseeing first-line finance support through Zendesk tickets and inbound calls, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved
- Managing the quality, accuracy and timeliness of finance support activities across the Shared Service Centre
- Monitoring team performance using SLA metrics, KPIs and operational reporting, communicating results and driving accountability across the team
- Coordinating and support month-end activities, ensuring deadlines are achieved accurately and efficiently
- Building strong relationships with Finance Process Towers and stakeholders across the business to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Acting as a key link between Central Support and wider finance teams, identifying opportunities to expand and improve support services
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying smarter and more efficient ways of working to enhance service delivery
- Supporting standardisation and process optimisation across the SSC through collaboration and innovation
- Ensuring all team activities are delivered in line with SOX controls, compliance requirements and company policies
- Promoting a highly compliant and well-controlled operating environment, proactively identifying and mitigating risk
- Leading regular one-to-one meetings, coaching conversations and performance reviews to support colleague development and engagement
Do you have what it takes to be a Lithia UK Colleague? We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within a Finance Shared Service Centre or SSC environment, ideally with exposure to finance query management or support operations
- Proven experience leading or supervising teams, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop colleagues
- Strong operational and organisational skills, with experience managing performance against SLAs, KPIs and deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence working across multiple teams and levels of the business
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Experience working within highly controlled and compliant environments, with an understanding of governance and financial controls
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting tools
- A hands-on, adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Desirable experience
- Experience using systems such as Zendesk, Pinewood, Power BI, ABBYY or automation technologies
- Experience working within a large or international organisation
- Exposure to finance transformation or process improvement initiatives
- Studying towards or interested in an accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA
